BIO
Professor Rubio graduated in Mathematics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2015), where she also earned a Master in Mathematics Education (2016). She received an Erasmus grant for the University of Bristol, UK (2014).
Currently she is finishing her PhD in Health Science at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). She will soon defend her thesis, “Cognitive and instructional variables in geometrical problem resolution”. Her research focuses on cognitive psychology and mathematical reasoning. She is also currently pursuing a Bachelor in Education, also at UNED.
She has been teaching Mathematics in the bachelor in business Administration at CUNEF Universidad since 2021. She also teaches courses on the didactics of mathematics at ESCUNI Centro Universitario. Previously, she taught at the Gredos San Diego Cooperative (2016–2021).
