International Double Degrees
The Double Bachelor in Law and International Relations at CUNEF Universidad, in partnership with the University of London and under the academic direction of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), is designed for students who want to understand how legal systems, institutions and global affairs interact in an increasingly complex world.
By combining CUNEF Universidad’s strong legal education with LSE’s international and analytical perspective on politics, governance and global challenges, the programme prepares students to move confidently across both legal and cross-border environments. Over five academic years, students build a solid grounding in the main branches of law while developing a deeper understanding of international relations, foreign policy, international organisations and the political and economic forces that shape today’s global order. This combination enables them not only to interpret legal frameworks, but also to understand the wider international context in which regulation, negotiation and decision-making take place.
The programme leads to two official and complementary degrees -LLB from CUNEF Universidad and BIR from the University of London under the academic direction of LSE-, includes an academic experience at the LSE Summer School in London as part of the curriculum, together with curricular internships that strengthen students’ professional readiness. The result is a distinctive academic pathway for those aiming to build a career in law firms, international organisations, public institutions, consultancies or multinational companies, with the potential to work in international legal and institutional centres such as New York, Strasbourg or The Hague.
The Double Bachelor in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and International Relations at CUNEF Universidad, in partnership with the University of London and under the academic direction of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), offers an interdisciplinary education for students who want to understand the world from multiple but connected perspectives. It brings together schools of thought, political analysis, ethical reasoning, economic trends and international affairs to help students interpret the forces shaping contemporary societies and the global order with rigour, perspective and intellectual independence.
Throughout the programme, students develop the ability to analyse public issues from different angles: Philosophy sharpens critical thinking and argumentation; Politics helps explain institutions, power and public decision-making; Economics provides essential tools for understanding markets, incentives and structural change; and International Relations adds a deeper understanding of foreign policy, international organisations, security, governance and geopolitical dynamics. Rather than training students to think within a single discipline, the degree prepares them to connect ideas, actors and systems in complex and multicultural settings.
Taught entirely in English, this programme leads to two official and complementary degrees -PPE from CUNEF Universidad and BIR from the University of London under the academic direction of LSE- and includes both an international mobility period and an academic experience at the LSE Summer School in London as part of the curriculum. The result is a demanding and distinctive pathway for students who aspire to careers in international institutions, public policy, strategic consulting, geopolitical analysis, research centres, NGOs or multinational organisations, with opportunities that may lead them to international hubs such as London, Geneva or Brussels.

Study in Madrid and London
London: an international experience beyond the classroom
Both programmes include an academic experience in London through the LSE Summer School, where you will attend in-person courses and study alongside a highly international student body.
As part of the programme, students will have the opportunity to complete part of their academic training at the LSE Summer School in London. During this experience, students take The London School of Economics (LSE) Summer Courses, gaining exposure to one of the world’s leading academic environments.
To successfully complete the programme, students must obtain 15 ECTS through Summer School courses. These can be taken either in one summer (two courses) or across two summers (one course per year), typically during Years 1–3.
This experience allows you to develop a broader perspective, strengthen your confidence and build the mindset required to operate in complex international contexts.
