The Executive Program – Investment Management is a program aimed at active professionals (with at least three years’ professional experience) wishing to reinforce and strengthen their professional development by improving their knowledge and professional skills in the financial area with a special emphasis on stock exchange and investment management. During the program, the participants will go into further detail in the analysis of the investment alternatives and/or financing that the capital and financial markets offer to individuals and to companies and institutions (stock exchange operations and trading, stock exchange analysis, financial assessment and planning, client portfolio management, institutional portfolio management, private banking portfolio management, etc.).

The Executive Program – Investment Management has the following objectives:

  • The participants will gain a sound applied knowledge of the financial sector with a particular emphasis on the management of financial markets, as well as the investment management processes (individuals, institutional or large investments).
  • They shall develop the skills in financial and stock exchange analysis (technical analysis, fundamental analysis, charter analysis, etc.) risk evaluation, generation of value and making financial decisions using the criteria of efficiency and profitability as demanded by today’s competitive environment.
  • The participants will increase their knowledge of the valuation, study and risk analysis techniques from the perspective of the financial transactions.
  • They shall also develop knowledge regarding the stock exchange business, the functioning of the securities markets, capital markets, as well as the instruments and products traded in those markets.
  • The program aims to develop management skills such as leadership, communication, team work, motivation, etc., necessary for the professional execution of their duties.

Students satisfactorily completing and passing all the academic requirements on the program (30 ECTS) will receive the: Executive Program – Investment Management (Executive Education).

Learning on the CUNEF Executive Programs is based on an eminently practical methodology that considers not only the acquisition of knowledge, but also the development of interpersonal and managerial skills. The main challenges and characteristics of the CUNEF methodology are the following:

  • The training is highly personalised: the work groups are small to encourage a constant exchange of information between the lecturer of each subject and each of the participants. This continual flow of information is one of keys to the success of the executive program.
  • It develops a strong spirit of cooperation and cohesion among all the participants: all the participants carry out the different educational activities progressing in a synchronised manner, which facilitates the creation and maintenance of a lively group setting and collaborative environment. The lecturers, specialists in their respective fields, actively work to ensure the attainment of the learning objectives established for each topic. They are also responsible for ensuring the creation of a true community between the different participants, encouraging participation and dialogue.
  • An intense planning of the different activities is the main guarantee for correct learning: for each of the subjects, the lecturers plan the different activities for that week in advance.
  • Individual learning and group work: in addition to the individual weekly activities, the participants must also participate in the activities (debates, discussions, forums, mini-projects, small research activities, etc.) that are determining factors for their learning and the creation of a lively setting for the exchange of information and opinions among the different participants.
  • An evaluation system based on effort and dedication: at CUNEF, we promote learning that is based on a continuous assessment of the participant’s performance in the different subjects, measuring the participation and team work, the level of involvement in the forums, the clarity and quality in the explanation and defence of the cases, as well as the knowledge acquired and demonstrated.

During the course of the program, the participants will successively work in the following learning methodologies:

  • Classroom-based theoretical explanations, lectures and analysis of technical notes.
  • Team work for the resolution of integrated practical analyses.
  • Classroom-based practical work on cases, problems, jurisprudence and legal documentation.
  • Classroom-based oral presentations of the results of the individual study or work.
  • Simulations of court cases and proceedings, simulations of contract negotiations, judicial visits, etc.
  • Mentoring and professional guidance sessions.
  • Individual study and work, individual lectures and research.
  • Specialised seminars.

At the end of this module, participants will be capable of valuing any company, listed or not, regardless of its size and financial health, as well as its business divisions. They will also know how to value the synergies and the control premium of an acquisition. To do so, they will be familiar with the cash flow discount methodology and be capable of analysing and applying any valuation multiple. They will understand what is involved in a strategy to increase the value of a business. All based on a reasoned and critical perspective, going beyond the mechanical application of certain conceptual tools. They will also be capable of creating complete financial projection models that will serve as a basis for the valuation or any other forecasting exercise within the financial function. 

Portfolio Management I aims to equip the student with the knowledge of the basic elements and main tools used in the management of financial assets. During the sessions there will be a review of aspects such as portfolio management theory, investment policy and allocation of assets. At the end of the module, the student will have a practical understanding of the normal procedures in portfolio management. During the module, the student will also have experience with extremely useful tools such as Bloomberg. There will also be group activities in which to further the eminently practical nature of the module.

This module details the structure of the Spanish securities market with a focus on the shares markets, although other traded products are analysed. It analyses the different structures of the markets, participating members and the main stock exchange operations (essentially takeover bids and IPOs). The main body of the module comprises the explanation of how the Spanish continuous market (SIBE) operates with practical exercises that allow the participant to become familiarised with the functioning of an electronic market. Lastly, but by no means less important, the module will cover the concept, composition and calculation formula of the IBEX 35®, the main benchmark of the Spanish equities market.

This covers the study of technical analysis commencing with a brief introduction of its origins to carry out an in-depth analysis of the basic principles that govern this analytical tool. Two key methodologies within technical analysis are explained: chartism and technical indicators. The first is a step by step explanation of the basic guidelines followed by the main graphical figures and investment strategies are recommended which will help obtain a better return from investments. With regard to the technical indicators, there will be an analysis of the ones that are most common in stock exchange trading. All the explanations are accompanied with real examples from the Spanish and European stock markets, which allow the participants to move from theory to practice and obtain a complete picture of the use of the technical analysis.

This module is designed to show the students in a totally practical manner how to manage the different types of portfolios, such as collective investment institutions or private banking portfolios. Therefore, the aim of the subject is the practical learning of the different management techniques that exist for different clients and institutions. As part of the subject, the students will examine several practical cases and there will be meetings with professional managers, specifically international investment fund managers. Upon completing the subject, the students will be have a detailed knowledge of how different institutions or clients manage their portfolios based on their different needs, including those portfolios that have a greater degree of complexity, such as hedge funds or sovereign wealth funds (SWF).

The module on strategies with derivatives and trading aims to provide the student with knowledge of the usefulness of derivatives with the aim of helping the management of portfolios and the managing risks. Over the sessions, the students will study the use of products such as options and futures in a practical setting, focusing on their characteristics and risks. The student will gain an understanding of not only the wide range of existing derivatives, but also be capable of implementing hedging and investment strategies that allow for a better return or risk profile of the asset portfolios.

The main objective of the Financial Planning module is to provide students with sufficient knowledge and tools to be able to draw up a financial plan for each type of investor. In this regard, the module will cover all aspects of financial planning, from the determination of the investor profile to the design of an investment plan which will translate into the creation of a portfolio suited to each profile. It will also cover how to monitor the investments, their periodic review and the evaluation of the results obtained from an eminently practical perspective. Lastly, two aspects that are becomingly increasingly more important are ethics in financial consultancy and the MiFID regulations establishing the rules of conduct, which must govern the actions of the investment companies to ensure that the provision of the services to the clients is carried out honestly, impartially and professionally.

Performed individually or as a group, through an in-depth analysis of the specific problem of a company or industrial sector, it addresses the analysis of the performance of a financial product or service, the launch of a new company or business line, etc. It is a rigorous task tutored by a CUNEF lecturer in which the participant must demonstrate their capacities for analysis and conceptualisation and the ability to put ideas, projects or business acquired during the program into action. The project must be associated with the speciality studied by the participants and be defended before a panel.

CUNEF has an excellent faculty, it is one of our most important assets. Expert lecturers who will actively work alongside you during your training so that the effort, learning and conceptual projection of the participants is seen to be clearly reinforced after passing through our classes. They are lecturers who combine their faculty, research and pedagogical vocations with the professional and managerial duties in their respective areas. In the majority of cases, the executive education lecturers at CUNEF hold positions of managerial responsibility at national and international companies and institutions.

All the modules are delivered exclusively by active professionals with teaching experience. Specialists from the financial, transport, communication, human resources or consultancy sectors will deliver the different sessions, with the necessary rigour, under the coordination and supervision of the program directors, comprising data scientists with at least 10 years professional experience and CUNEF lecturers.

Prof. Marta Amusátegui Vergara. Graduate in Engineering – Industrial Engineering (specialising in Electrotechnics). Comillas Pontifical University and an MBA (Master’s in Business Administration). Fontainebleau, France. Currently working at: ELAND PRIVATE EQUITY, S.G.E.I.C., S.A. (Madrid, Spain). Member of the Board of Directors (independent, non-executive) and Technical Consultant. April 2009 – present. Management company for capital risk funds specialising in renewable energies (solar). Full member of the Spanish Association of Capital Risk Entities (ASCRI). She is also an Independent Consultant and associate lecturer at CUNEF (Madrid, Spain) in Managerial Skills. She has held the positions of: General Manager of BANK OF AMERICA in Spain (Madrid, Spain); Executive Director, Investment Banking, LEHMAN BROTHERS (London, United Kingdom); Associate Director/Executive Director, Investment Banking, UBS WARBURG (London, United Kingdom); Consultant at McKINSEY & Co (Madrid, Spain); and senior analyst/consultant at ANDERSEN CONSULTING (ACCENTURE).

Prof. Dr. Miguel Aguirre Uzquiano. PhD in International Economics (UCM) and an MBA with more than 25 years of professional experience in areas related to finance and foreign trade. Director of Political Risk Operations at COFACE Iberica S.A. since 2008.

Prof. José Ángel Amor Atienza. Graduate in Economics and Business Science and numerous postgraduate programs, specialises in the banking and financial sector. More than 20 years professional experience in the banking sector (Banco popular and Banco Santander), where he has held the following professional positions: Commercial Director, Business Banking Director, Deputy General Manager, Director of Promotion of Foreign Trade, Responsible for Promotion of Foreign Trade, and Commercial Manager.

Prof. Dr. Santiago Camarero Aguilera. PhD in Economics (cum laude) (2014), Rey Juan Carlos University Master’s degree in Financial Consulting and Planning (2012), Rey Juan Carlos University MSc. Mathematical Trading and Finance (2004), City University Business School, London and Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Science (1997) Complutense University, Madrid. He has extensive professional experience in the financial sector. He has held the following positions:  Bankia – Director of Investor Relations and Analysis; Caja Madrid – Director of Structured Products (Madrid); Dresdner Kleinwort Wassertein – Risk Exposure Management (London); Atlas Capital Ltd – Arbitrage Funds Manager/Analyst (London); Deutsche Bank – Financial Engineer (London).

Prof. Dr. Juan Domínguez Jiménez. PhD in Finance and Accounting. He has previous teaching experience as an associate lecturer in Finance and Accounting as the IE Business School, associate lecturer as several Spanish Business Schools and Universities and as a visiting lecturer in Finance as the NEOMA Business School (Paris, France). He has extensive professional experience spanning 20 years in financial positions and in managing business lines. Some of the positions he has held are: Head of Carrier Services at Vodafone, Director of the Wholesale and Interconnection Business at ONO, Director of Management Control (Residential Business) at ONO, Director of TV Operations at ONO, General Manager at Estreno Digital (AUNA Group), Director of Finance at Estreno Digital (AUNA Group), Controller at Uno-e Bank (BBVA Group) and Head of Management Control and Treasury at Hewlett-Packard.

Prof. Pablo García Pérez. Regular contributor of specialised financial press and author of articles related to the world of finance. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Science and a Master’s in Financial Markets (CEMFI) Director of Private Banking Funds and International Expansion. The main function is the design and participation in decision-making concerning investment in fixed income, equity, currency and alternative management assets both for multi-asset funds distributed across the CAIXABANK network, and the Private Banking mandates, as well as international clients inside and outside the group. He carries out this activity alongside the international business duties at CaixaBank AM focused on the implementation of the structure and range of products in Luxembourg. He is currently responsible for a team managing 7.5 billion euros distributed in Spain and Luxembourg.

Prof. Dr. Miguel González Sardinero. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a PhD in algebra (cum laude, July 1991), he obtained a Master’s degree in Finance at CEFMI. Since then, and after a period at FEDEA, he developed his career in financial markets as a Risk Manager specialising in derivatives. He started as an OTC derivatives operator at Argentaria. He continued his professional career by moving to Banco Santander as Deputy Director for the Risk Market. After two years, he obtained a position in the head office as an options operator (FX, rates and capital). Since then, he has worked in BBVA in the management of the exotic capital derivatives desk, he was the Head of the FX and Basic Products desk in Europe and Head of the Asia region for two years. His main role at BBVA was as Global Director of Interest Rates. He is currently a lecturer at CUNEF in the Finance Department.

Prof. Dr. Rafael Hurtado Coll. PhD in Economics from the San Pablo-CEU University, his dissertation was on hedge funds and financial crises. Executive MBA from the IESE. Graduate in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Graduate in Business Administration and Management from the San Pablo-CEU University Currently the Director of Investments at Allianz Popular (Allianz Group), responsible for the management of investment funds and pension plans with assets under management totalling more than 17 billion euros. He manages an investment team of 22 people specialising in different classes of assets (fixed income, equities, derivatives, etc.). He is also a member of the Investments Committee at Popular Banca Privada and the High Income Committee at Banco Popular. Previously, he joined Banco Popular Group in 1998, where he held the position of Director of Investments for the Asset Management Department Prior to holding this position, he joined Multigestion in 2000 as a director, responsible for all the investments in funds of third-parties. His teaching activities focus mainly on financial markets, alternative investments and business economics, for which he has published numerous articles in newspapers and specialised magazines, in addition to other collective and individual works.

Prof. Dr. Miguel Ángel Iglesias Hernández. PhD in Economics and Business Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid. MBA, University of Chicago. MBA, IE Business School. Diploma in Advanced Financial Studies, Autonomous University of Madrid. Graduate in Economics and Business Science, Comillas Pontifical University Currently employed at the European Investment Bank, where he combines his duties with teaching at CUNEF. He was a member of the group of Directors of the FROB, in 2014 he was a Director at NovaCaixaGalicia Banco. From 2010 to 2014 he was the Director of Portfolio Risk Management at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Prior to this, from 2001 to 2010, he worked at BBVA Group, where he was the Deputy General Manager for Risks for the Markets Departments and assistant Deputy General Manager for Global Credit Risk Management.  From 1991 to 2001, he held several positions in the area of Risk Management and Returns at the Santander Group.

Prof. Dr. Juan Antonio de Juan. Juan Antonio de Juan has a bachelor’s degree and a PhD in mathematics, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. He has more than 10 years professional experience in the Financial Sector at BBVA in the development of risk management models and from 2011 to 2015 he was head of the Risk Methodologies Department. He currently carries out training duties as an independent professional, and also as a financial consultant cooperating as an external partner with the Financial Risk Management Department of KPMG-Spain. He has extensive experience in the development of methodologies for measuring financial risk in its varying forms: credit, counter-party, market, operational, valuation risk, modelling risk, etc., for use in management as well as in the areas of solvency (Basel) and accounting (IAS-IFRS), for determining fair value and calculating credit risk hedges).

Prof. Javier Méndez Llera. Born in San Juan de Puerto Rico, he is a graduate of Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He also has a Master’s in Economics and another in Finance from the IE Business School (Madrid) and the London Business School. He is a lecturer in Finance at CUNEF. He was the Spanish representative in the European Commission work group for the development of the White Book on changes in the Directive on collective investment undertakings. He has also been a member of the group of experts advising the European Commission (DG Internal Market) in relation to the European financial markets. He was also the Spanish representative at the European Federation of Financial Analysis Societies Training and Education Committee. A member of the US Chapter of the Association for Investment Management and Research – AIMR-International (now known as the CFA Institute), he is currently the Secretary-General of the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts (IEAF) and General Manager of the Foundation for Financial Studies (FEF). As a professional in the finance field, he was chairman of Nordland, a private financial consultancy firm. Prior to this he held numerous executive positions in the BBVA Group in Spain, as CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of Assets of BBVA, Director of Securities at BBVA Gestión and Director of Institutional Clients at BBVA Pensiones. Previously, he was the Deputy Chairperson and Director of Research at the Brokerage Company BBVA Interactivos in Madrid and CEO of the Portuguese broker Midas Investimentos in Lisbon. Prior to that he was the Deputy Chairman of the Private Banking Unit of BBVA. He began his professional career at SAFEI, an asset management firm in Madrid.

Prof. Yolanda López Blanco. Graduate in Forestry from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Diploma in Cooperative Studies from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Complex Project Management Program at EASDE, Barcelona. Program for Management Development (PMD) at IESE School in Madrid. She has worked as a consultant at Accenture, and is currently the lecturer in Managerial Skills at CUNEF on the graduate and postgraduate programs.

Prof. Jorge Morán Santor. Jorge Moran is a Law graduate (UCM), and is currently studying a PhD in Economic Science through the UNED (National University of Distance Education) and holds a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Economic Science (UAH) and Sociology (Salamanca), an Executive MBA from the IE Business School and GMP from the IESE Business School. He has had an extensive professional activity in the financial sector, working in BBVA and Santander, the two largest Spanish Groups, performing various functions in Commercial Banking, Consumer Finance, both in Spain and in Portugal as well as in Latin America and at Avalmadrid, SGR. He is the current Corporate Director at Aliseda SGI – Santander Business Group.  At CUNEF, he is a lecturer in Risk and Corporate Finance and the Coordinator of the Business Risk Management and Financial Management Speciality.

Prof. Dr. Fernando Antonio Moroy Hueto. PhD in Economics and Business Science (Rey Juan Carlos University, 2016), graduate in Physical Science (University of the Basque Country, 1979), IESE Business School General Management Program (GMP-2003), summer program student at Harvard Business School. He has worked in the Financial Sector for more than 34 years in different positions in different entities. His last position was as Director of Institutional Relations at ”la Caixa” in the Community of Madrid. He is the Chairman of the Madrid Chapter of the Keiretsu Business Angels Network, which has its headquarters in San Francisco (www.keiretsuforym.es). Deputy Chairman of the Spanish Mentoring Association. Author of articles on Strategy and Finance, co-author of the book “Banca Comercial con Talento” (Commercial Banking with Talent)” and “Cómprame y Vende. 20 Píldoras de los Maestros del Marketing” (Buy Me and Sell. 20 Tips from the Masters of Marketing).

Prof. Dr. José Antonio Pérez Rodríguez. PhD In Economic Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, Master’s in Applied Economics: The Economy of the European Union, Ortega y Gasset Institute University, Madrid, graduate in Economic Science from the Alcalá de Henares University. Specialising in International Management at the Bordeaux University (FRANCE). He is the current Training Coordinator at Instituto BME and has been associated with the financial markets (within the BME Group) since 2000.

Prof. Dr. Jose Manuel Piñeiro Becerra.  PhD in Economics and Business Science and a graduate in Economics and Business Science -major in Business- through the UNED. He has studied the Senior Management Program at the IESE Business School (University of Navarre) and has extensive professional experience in the financial sector where he is the Deputy General Manager of the Banco Popular Group Spain and Director of the Real Estate and Recoveries Network of the Bank, as well as a member of the board of several companies: Aliseda, SA; Bancopopular-E; Sistemas 4B; Gestora Patrimonial de Sistemas 4B; Deputy Chairman and member of the board de FEUGA. Prof. Dr. Ricardo Queralt Sánchez de las Matas. Dr. Queralt is the co-director of the Master’s in Data Science for Finance at CUNEF. He has a PhD in Quantitative Economics and has taught quantitative methods since 1990. He has taught at the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Francisco de Vitoria University and at the European University of Madrid. He currently teaches graduate and postgraduate courses at the University College of Financial Studies (CUNEF). He also co-directs the Summer School course Introduction to Data Science and its Applications in Business and Finance. He is also the director of the Doctorate department at the European University of Madrid for the programs in Spain and Latin America.  His professional career outside of teaching and research has always focused on the application of quantitative methods in business, excelling in the creation of econometric and forecasting models in the areas of finance, health and sport. His professional prestige has led to him being appointed as a member of the Investor Protection and Intermediaries Standing Committee of ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority).

Prof. Mateo Rodríguez Braun. Graduate in Business Administration and Management at CUNEF, MBA. New York University. Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is the current Director of Product Development at Openbank. He has worked in the Transformation Departments at Santander España, the commercial segments of Santander UK and the Commercial Banking Corporate School. He also has experience at Mckinsey & Co, Arthur Andersen, Bearing Point and Deloitte.

Prof. Rosario Rodríguez Suárez.  Lecturer at CUNEF. Graduate in Economics and Business Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master’s from the IESE Business School in Senior Management. Lecturer in Banking Risk Analysis and Management at CUNEF.  University lecturer on Graduate programs in several branches of the Finance speciality: International Financial Markets, Spanish Financial System, Securities Market, Economics and Banking Management, and Corporate Finance. Her professional background in the business world comes from the BBVA Group as Director of New Risk Developments and previously at Argentaria and Banco Exterior de España in the Chairman’s Office, Capital Markets, Corporate Banking and International Finance. She has written and co-authored publications on the Basel II and III Capital Directives.

Prof. Dr. Gregorio Serna. Full Professor of Financial Economics, University of Alcalá. His research activities have focused on the field of Finance and more specifically on financial derivatives and commodities, a field in which he has authored several publications in international magazines. He has also lectured at several university centres, at both graduate and postgraduate level (CUNEF). He has a PhD in Economics from the Carlos III University of Madrid and is a graduate of Economics and Business Science from the University of Valladolid.

Prof. Dr. Javier Sosa. Full professor of the University in the Financial Economics and Accounting department since 1990 and has been a member of the faculty at CUNEF since 1993. He has participated in multiple training programs aimed at different corporations and since 2013 has directed the PwC-CUNEF Master’s in Auditing.  He has a PhD in Economics and Business Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, graduating summa cum laude. He has 30 years of university experience. He is a member of the academic council of the Comparative Law Research Institute and the Criminology Research Institute, both belonging to the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a member of the scientific committee of the Conference on Finance and Economics sponsored by The Society for the Study of Emerging Markets (SSEM) and the Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (EMFT) journal.

Prof. Dr. Juan José Tenorio. PhD in Financial Economics (UCM), MBA from MIT, Graduate in Economics and Business Science, CFA and CAIA. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the financial sector (asset management and investment management) and extensive teaching experience that he combines with his professional activities.

Prof. Matías Viola. With more than 15 years of experience in the capital markets, he has held a variety of managerial positions: fund manager for the Spanish Treasury covering the issue strategy of the Kingdom of Spain and participating in dissemination activities and roadshows throughout Asia, Europe and Africa. He has been the member of high level groups at a variety of international institutions and organisations (such as the European Council and the OECD). He has also been an advisor to the World Bank which helps emerging markets to define their debt management strategy in the medium-term. He is currently a director at BBVA in analysis and evaluation for the financial management of the regulatory and financial affairs. He was an intermediary in Frankfurt for the bank to coordinate the regulation and supervision relations with the ECB. He is a State Economist and Trade Expert. MBA Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) (Fulbright Scholar) and Graduate in Business Administration and Management from CUNEF.

Prof. Steven Sitzer. Yale University, Finance and Marketing. Bachelors of Arts and Sciences, Political Economy of Industrial Societies, University of California, Berkeley, Magna Cum Laude. He has developed his professional career in the financial sector as: CFO/External Financial Officer, Aspen Institute Spain (2015 – present); BBVA, several positions in asset management, Real Estate Commercial Director, project financing (1995-2007); West Merchant Bank (London), Consultancy, project financing (1994-1995); Bechtel Corporation, currency and treasury management (1989-1994); Lehman Brothers, Inc., Sales and Trading (1988-1989); Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Summer Associate Program (1988)

CUNEF maintains a very close and active relationship with the business and professional environment. The Careers Service actively manages the company work experience programs, job offers, as well as the organisation of complementary seminars and activities, the main aim of which is to provide CUNEF students with all the necessary tools and skills, and also the best possible opportunities, to facilitate their incorporation into their first job and improve their professional development.

CUNEF students have the option to participate in some of the following professional training activities:

  • CUNEF jobs forum Every year, companies and institutions from different economic and business sectors participate in the jobs forum organised by CUNEF. It provides students and companies the perfect framework for exchanging experiences and discovering the details of all the processes involved in young university graduates starting their first jobs.
  • Company presentations and on-campus selection processes.
  • Companies from the legal, financial, consultancy, auditing and investment banking sectors frequently carry out election processes, presentations, specific seminars, etc., all developed in conjunction with the Careers Service and specially aimed at CUNEF graduates and postgraduates.
  • Practical Seminars and Activities for professional purposes. Participants will also be able to participate in a variety of seminars and workshops aimed at improving their specialised knowledge and competences for their professional life
  • Job Bank. Together with the CUNEF Alumni Association, CUNEF manages the offers of employment that are regularly issued by companies and institutions.

During the year of the Master’s, the day to day teaching activities are complemented with another series of activities so that the participants expand their knowledge, reinforce their professional direction, experiment in the professional environment or, gauge initiatives and proposals developed by the leading experts in the professional world of finance. The Program also includes the following complementary activities:

  • The “Passport to your future” Professional Guidance Program:  a program where consultants with extensive experience in selection processes, accompany and help participants on the Master’s in finance programs strengthen their professional performance. The program includes three types of activities:
    • Practical Workshops during which the participants have the opportunity to know first hand from the experts in selection processes key aspects such as: the guidelines for writing and presenting your CV and the Presentation Letter, where and how to look for employment opportunities, how to tackle the different selection processes that companies carry out and how to know your strengths and your areas for improvement, all with the aim of demonstrating a competitive advantage in the market, etc.
    • Meetings with professionals of recognised prestige in their respective areas, who will first hand present the market where the participants will perform their professional activity, as well as the most sought after professional profiles, for which positions and the different alternatives that the companies in their sector offer.
    • Mentoring sessions in which the mentors offer the participants their knowledge in order to contribute to the future professional achievement of the participants on the CUNEF Master programs.
  • Seminars – Practical Workshops and Conferences: during the master’s course a variety of specialisation seminars and practical workshops will be organised, as well as conferences, working breakfasts, presentations, etc., which aim to provide participants with access to specialised knowledge, experiences, initiatives and new projects presented by professional experts, who are leaders in their respective fields.
