Iturmendi Rubia, José Miguel



José Miguel Iturmendi Rubia graduated from law school at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1997. He obtained "A" qualification at the final global exam at said UCM law school. He has completed various Master degrees an Expert and Specialist Programs in various national and international institutions. He holds a PhD degree by the Department of Philosophy of Law, Moral and Politics I of Universidad Complutense de Madrid since 2016 for which he obtained "A" Cum Laude qualification and the Extraordinary Award for Doctorate Studies. Currently he teaches as an associate professor at UCM School of Law, at CUNEF and CU Cardenal Cisneros. He combines his teaching obligations with the practice of law, focusing on Criminal law, Child related law and Data Protection. As a teacher he has engaged in various conferences on Information Technology Law and Human Rights Law for various institutions, as well as various Master programs. 


Juris doctor (Department of Philosophy of Law, Ethics and Politics I). “Dignity of the person as a right, principle and value in the legislation, jurisprudence and theory of law”. Presentation of Memory of Doctoral Thesis on January 28, 2016. Qualification: Honors. Extraordinary Award.
