Daniel Berzosa López graduated in Law with an outstanding award from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (award to the best academic curriculum) and earned his PhD summa cum laude from the University of Bologna (Italy), where he was a scholar at the Real Colegio de España and ranked first in his class. His academic mentors are Pedro de Vega (deceased in 2016) and Giuseppe de Vergottini.

He has been teaching, publishing and performing research on higher undergraduate and graduate education for more than twenty years. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals, authored a variety of books and participated in congresses and research projects.

At the same time, he has practiced law developing institutional legal advice regarding particularly complex contentious issues for civil society and commercial organizations, public institutions and foundations, primarily related financial and real estate activities, telecommunications, services, exploitation of consumer products, inheritances and titles of nobility.
