Dean Lueck is professor of Economics and Law at the University of Arizona. He has been guest lecturer and visiting faculty member at prestigious universities, including Yale Law School, Universitat Pampeu Fabra, University of Virginia School of Law, University of Toronto, and University of Oslo. His current research projects include studies of the role of custom in agricultural land contracts, the economics of conservation easements, the economic function and effects of property law, the demarcation of land, and the behavior of state wildlife agencies. He has published in the most prestigious journals in the fields of economics and law and economics, including American Economic Review, RAND Journal of Economics, Journal of Law and Economics and Journal of Legal Studies.
