Background
Stephen has lectured at Edith Cowan University, the Yunnan University of Finance and Trade (People’s Republic of China), Shanghai University of Electric Power (People’s Republic of China), Trisakti University (Indonesia), the Gandhi Institute (Indonesia), ACBT (Sri Lanka), MDIS (Singapore), University of Western Australia, Curtin University of Technology, and Notre Dame University. Stephen specialises in Business in Asia and International Negotiation and Communication.

• Doctor of Philosophy (University of Western Australia 2005)
• Master of Business Administration (University of Western Australia 1997)
• Bachelor of Applied Science (Mathematics – Curtin University of Technology).

Research Focus

• The affect the evolving Chinese market economy is having on the decay in the significance of guanxi.
• Organization guanxi in China.
